Sunday, January 17, 2000, REACT held a public information meeting.  We had over 200 people in attendance.  Information about the Board of Health actions to date and the recall drive were discussed at the meeting.  Attached are some pictures from the meeting.  State and local officials came to our meeting and spoke on our effort to stop the transfer station.  State Representatives Ron Mariano and Kathleen Teahan, State Senator Hedlund, The Mayor of Weymouth and the Weymouth Council all spoke about stopping the trash station.
